The officer reported that when they arrived to the scene a dog ran out in an aggressive manner and was showing its teeth. The dog then bit the officer on his hand and went to bite again. However, the officer fired at the dog, grazed it and ran in the other direction. The dog was recovered and taken to a veterinarian clinic where it was treated.
