Companies are expected to provide safe and reliable products for consumers. Each year there are thousands of product recalls that affect consumers all over the United States. This can include boats, vehicles, food, and consumer products. Whenever there is hazard or a risk associated with a product it is the company’s responsibility to alert all consumers of the dangers. This can prompt a product recall which may mean that consumers who have these products may receive a free replacement, have their money returned or even be compensated extra for their trouble. However, consumers need to understand that these dangerous products can cause serious injuries. The company that is responsible for the product may also be responsible for expenses caused by your injuries. Always contact a product liability attorney if you are injured by a faulty or defective product. These injuries can result in substantial medical bills not to mention stress and anxiety. An experienced attorney will help determine if you have the grounds to pursue legal action for your injuries.
