A Kansas City man has been injured in a moped accident. The accident occurred yesterday around 3 p.m. Police report the accident happened when a moped scooter collided with an SUV at the intersection of 53rd Street and Prospect Avenue. An officer arrived at the scene just after the crash. The police have conducted a preliminary investigation; however, it is still undetermined whose is at fault for the crash. The man driving the scooter was taken to the hospital where he is listed in critical condition. The individual operating the SUV was unharmed.
