Wisconsin Man Killed in Workplace Accident

A workplace accident claimed the life of a Wisconsin man on Friday. The accident occurred in Woodville at approximately 2:37 p.m. Authorities responded to the scene at St. Croix Castings and pronounced the 41-year-old male worker dead. Investigators have labeled it an industrial accident and have provided few details regarding the incident. St. Croix Castings is a business that manufactures aluminum castings in a sand and permanent molds, and the St. Croix County Economic Development Corporation named them the small business of the year for 2015. The accident is being investigated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
