A 3-car
crash is being investigated after seven people were injured in Colorado Springs,
Colorado. Police reported that a dark-colored Ford truck was speeding
when it ran through a red light and hit a Volkswagen who then hit a Hyundai
that was traveling the same direction. Seven people were transported to
the hospital where two are being treated for serious injuries. A 23-year
old was arrested after he fled the scene on foot after the crash happened.
The man is being charged with leaving the scene of the accident, vehicular
assault, and other charges.
Thousands of drivers are treated in emergency rooms each year due to vehicle
accidents. It’s estimated that the cost for disabling injury is
$61,600 in vehicle accidents. This only adds stress to victims who are
already dealing with injuries and the physical and mental limitations
that they’ve caused. If an accident has caused you damages at no
fault of your own, you may have grounds to pursue legal action against
the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident. Always contact a reputable
personal injury attorney who specializes in car accident injuries. An
attorney will assess your accident and injuries while determining if you
can legally pursue compensation for your injuries.
