Two Vehicle Accident Caused By Speeding
Posted By Meyerkord & Meyerkord, LLC
In Florida, an
accident occurred recently involving two vehicles on the Courtney Campbell Causeway.
A driver was operating her vehicle dangerously by speeding through fog
while continuously making lane changes. As a conclusion of the reckless
driving, the vehicle collided with a van that was stopped due to traffic.
A young baby in the first vehicle was severely injured as a result of
the collision. Reportedly, the baby was not safely secured into the vehicle
at the time of the accident. Furthermore, the accident was investigated
for hours after its occurrence, and it is still being determined whether
or not there will be charges made.
Reckless driving is an epidemic that plagues the roads. With technological
advancements being made every day, distractions seem to surround drivers.
On top of that, speeding seems to be a grand issue affecting the safety
of the roads as well. It is necessary for drivers to be conscious of these
issues and to make the decision to operate their vehicles safely by focusing
on the road. Failure to do so may result in an accident.
