Two Pedestrians Killed in Hit and Run Accident

Investigators are seeking information in regards to a fatal hit and run accident that happened on Sunday night. The accident happened at around 8 p.m. in Clearwater, Florida. According to Clearwater Police, two individuals were walking on Memorial Causeway when they were struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle then fled the scene of the accident and witnesses believe it is a silver Mercedes. The pedestrians were transported to the hospital where they later succumbed to their injuries.
