Missouri Man Thrown From Vehicle in Auto Accident

|

A Friday night accident left one man in serious condition when he was thrown from his vehicle during an auto accident. The crash occurred in the Southwest Missouri town of Fairview. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, a 57-year-old man was traveling along Highway 86 when he lost control of his motorcycle and it overturned at approximately 9 p.m. The man was airlifted in serious condition to a hospital in Springfield.

Often, many people assume that single vehicle accidents are caused solo by the drivers reckless driving or driving errors. That assumption is incorrect because there are several factors that can lead to a single-vehicle accident. One cause of single-vehicle accidents is dangerous roadways. Roadways that are designed to be too narrow, lack sufficient shoulders, or have a significant drop off could all be examples of dangerous roadways. Another cause of single-vehicle accidents is vehicle design flaws. SUVs are more common to have design flaws because their center of gravity is higher resulting in more rollover accidents. If you have been injured in a single-vehicle accident where a vehicle design flaw or dangerous roadway could be a factor, it is important to seek the advice of a reputable attorney. Also, if you were injured as a passenger in a single-vehicle accident, even if the driver was at fault, you may be entitled to compensation for your injuries.
