Pulse Performance Products are recalling almost 9,000 children’s electric scooters due to fall hazards. The company reports that the knuckle joint that joins together the wheel and axle can break which poses a hazard to the person riding the scooter. They were manufactured between September and October 2016 and the date is printed on a code label located under the platform. The scooters were sold exclusively at Target stores for around $100 and were sold in the color blue. There haven’t been any injuries reported but the company suggests that consumers immediately remove the scooters from children and contact the company directly for a full refund.
