Twelve Passengers Injured In Chicago Bus Crash

Twelve people were injured in a CTA bus accident in Chicago’s South Side on Tuesday afternoon. According to officials, twelve people were taken to local hospitals after a collision between a CTA bus and a car. A spokesman for the Chicago Police said the traffic accident happened in the city’s Park Manor neighborhood at approximately 4:05 p.m. in the 6700 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue. All bus passengers were evacuated and evaluated for injuries.

The twelve people who were taken to the hospital suffered only minor injuries, and five others received on the scene treatment, according to the Chicago Fire Department. The bus accident is still under investigation by Chicago Police, and no citations have been issued as of now. It is unclear who caused the crash.
