A crew member aboard the world’s biggest cruise ship was killed during a boating accident. Investigators say a lifeboat fell during a simple training exercise that killed one man and left four others injured. Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas is known as the world's biggest cruise ship. The 42-year-old crew member died from undisclosed injuries after a lifeboat fell about ten meters. Four others were seriously injured, including two that are in critical condition. Officials say the victims was from the Philippines. The boat was docked in Marseille, France during the incident, according to CNN. Officials say the boat is the largest of its kind, employing 2,100 crew members and accommodating 6,780 guests. The ship is said to be longer than the Eiffel Tower is tall.

Witnesses say the safety drill is conducted every week, but this time, the lifeboat plummeted to the ground with five on board. An open investigation focuses on discovering why the cable holding the lifeboat broke. The cruise ship will be held during the investigation and cause major delays.
