Creve Coeur Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident

|

A Creve Coeur man is dead after a fatal motorcycle accident on Ladue Road. According to officials, the motorcycle accident happened on Ladue Road near Interstate 270 around 7:20 a.m. on Wednesday. Police say the 30-year-old victim was transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis where he was pronounced dead.

According to the St. Louis Police Captain, a westbound SUV struck an eastbound motorcyclist on Ladue Road as the SUV was turning left to get onto the southbound ramp leading to Interstate 270. The motorcycle hit the right rear part of the SUV and died from his injuries sustained in the crash. Police say he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. The female driver of the SUV was not injured and stayed on the scene to cooperate with police. The police say an electric signal is present at the intersection of Ladue Road and the entrance ramp to I-270. Police will be able to retrieve evidence of right-of-way. No charges have been filed.
