With about 1.3 million deaths and millions of more injuries resulting from road crashes every year, unsafe driving is an epidemic that can often be prevented. Wrong way driving often results from a lack of focus or the failure of the driver to see warning signs. Reportedly, about 61% of wrong-way road crashes are caused by driving under the influence, which is one of the top three factors found in fatal vehicle accidents.
