|

The Metro police report a young motorcyclist was struck by another vehicle while traveling on Murfreesboro Pike. A Chevrolet sedan was turning left on Old Hickory Boulevard and hit the oncoming motorcyclist resulting in his death. Police are still trying to identify the deceased victim. The driver of the sedan claims he did not see the motorcyclist until impact. Police report the light was green at the time of the crash, and the driver of the car failed to yield.
