Motorcyclist Killed in Hit and Run Accident

|

A man was killed in St. Louis after another motorcycle accident on Sunday. The St. Louis Police report a hit and run case that left a motorcyclist for dead around 12:00 p.m., about two blocks east of Fairgrounds Park. Investigators say a car struck the rear-end of a motorcyclist. Police say the accident was especially heinous, noting that the suspect got out of his vehicle, checked for damage and then drove away from the scene of the accident, leaving the motorcyclist to die. The motorcyclist was later identified as a 24-year-old Winston man who was pronounced dead at the hospital. The suspect is still as large as police continue to search. It is a crime in Missouri to leave the scene of an accident without a proper exchange of information and failing to render aid in an auto accident that resulted in personal injury.
