Motorcycle accidents can be one of the most deadly auto accidents due to the vulnerability of the rider. Wearing a helmet can prevent some fatalities in the event of a motorcycle accident, however, many states do not require riders to wear them. A helmet is nearly the only form of protection a rider has during a collision due to the openness of the motorcycle. It is common for motorcycle accidents to be caused by the reckless driving of the rider, however, there are many other factors that can cause a preventable crash.
