Construction Worker Killed in Work Accident

An Arkansas work accident resulted in the death of a construction worker on Wednesday morning. According to the Pope County Sheriff's Department, construction crews were working on road repairs along Arkansas 7 when a crane accident occurred at around 10:30 a.m. One worker suffered serious injuries in the accident and he succumbed to those injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident near Dover. An investigation is being conducted regarding the accident and the victim's identity will be released once next of kin is notified.
