Illinois Motorcyclist Dies In Crash

A 32-year-old motorcycle driver from Illinois has died from the injuries sustained in an motorcycle accident last week. The accident occurred on June 22 at the Frank Scott Parkway and Sullivan Drive intersection. The man was driving a BMW motorcycle when he was hit by a Chevrolet Impala around 5 p.m. The motorcyclist was airlifted to a St. Louis hospital and was in critical condition. Sadly, the motorcyclist died today from his injuries sustained in the crash. The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The 19-year-old female driver of the Impala was unharmed. She was issued a citation after investigators discovered she failed to yield the right-of-way when making a left turn onto Sullivan Drive from Frank Scott Parkway.
