U.S. Secret Service Agents Injured in Auto Accident

|

Recently, a vehicle accident occurred in New Hampshire when a driver of a car veered out of their lane and into the opposite lane of traffic. When this happened, the driver, Bruce Danforth, collided with a vehicle that was occupied by four U.S. Secret Service agents. Tragically, as a result of the accident, Danforth, the driver of the vehicle that crossed the line of traffic, passed away. In addition, the U.S. Secret Service agents were injured. Also, two of Danforth’s passengers were injured and taken to the hospital for medical care. The Wakefield Police Department confirmed that Danforth was not an owner of a valid driver’s license. Allegedly, Danforth had a history of criminal activity.

Around the world, vehicle accidents occur just about every minute of every day. While often times vehicle accidents are unpredictable, there are steps that can be taken in order to greatly reduce your chance of involvement. For example, it is recommended that all operators of vehicles practice attentive and defensive driving. Defensive driving can be defined as a method of driving which allows the operator to defend themselves against the dangers of the road, such as collisions and poor road conditions.
