Passenger Killed in High Speed Car Crash

A high-speed car crash has resulted in the death of one man during the early hours of Wednesday. At approximately 3:30 a.m., a pickup truck was speeding down Vista Road in Pasadena, Texas when he lost control and struck an iron fence between Broadmoor Drive and Pansy Street. The driver was airlifted to the hospital for serious injuries and his male passenger was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Their identities have not yet been released and police are investigating the crash.

Speeding and aggressive driving are the cause of numerous auto accidents each year and are easily prevented. Every state has speed limits enforced to attempt to prevent car crashes. Unfortunately, many drivers ignore speed limits and some drivers engage in activities involving high rates of speed, such as drag racing. No driver desires to be involved in an auto accident but by engaging in reckless driving, they are placing themselves at risk as well as other travelers. Individuals who suffered injuries and lose loved ones in auto accidents will likely incur emotional trauma, physical injuries, loss of income, and property damage.
