Individuals that choose to operate a motorcycle are required to receive an education on how to properly handle the vehicle, as well as the traffic laws pertaining to motorcycle use. Despite the known risks of operating the vehicle, motorcycle accidents occur frequently. It is not uncommon for some motorcyclists to negligently handle their vehicle and cause the accidents. However, due to their smaller size, it is often more common for other motorists to be liable due to distracted driving, DUI, fatigued driving and speeding.
