Jefferson County Crash Kills One, Injures One

|

On Friday afternoon, a head-on auto accident claimed the life of an Arnold resident and injured a woman from Arkansas. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 59-year-old Margaret Davis was traveling southbound on Highway 61-67 while driving a 1992 GMC RV2. At approximately 4:10 p.m., 21-year-old Nedzad Pacariz was operating a 2015 Nissan Versa heading northbound, crossed the median line and collided head-on with Davis’ vehicle near Arnold. Emergency crews pronounced Pacariz dead at the scene of the crash and Davis was transported by ambulance to the hospital. Davis has since been treated and released. The Patrol is investigating the accident.

There are numerous types and circumstances of auto accidents. Single-vehicle accidents, SUV rollovers, motorcycle crashes, truck accidents, and one of the most severe, head-on collisions, result in thousands of injuries and fatalities every year. While auto accidents occur frequently, being involved in one is a traumatic experience. All individuals should be educated on the steps to follow after an auto accident. Seeking medical treatment should be the first priority, and once an individual is stable, an auto accident attorney should be contacted soon after to investigate the accident.
