Driver Killed in Single-Car Accident

|

A woman’s life was cut short in single-car accident on Sunday morning. The crash happened in Chattanooga, Tennessee when a 52-year-old woman was operating a Ford Explorer and traveling on Highway 58. As she traveled north, the vehicle crossed the median line and into the southbound lanes, then veered off of the roadway and crashed into an embankment. The impact caused the vehicle to overturn and the driver was ejected from the Ford at around 7:16 a.m. She was transported to the hospital by ambulance where she tragically died from the injuries she sustained. Investigators are working to determine what lead to the accident.

Auto accidents that involve a single-vehicle occur frequently. It is common for victims of single-vehicle accidents to assume they do not have grounds to file an auto accident claim. However, no assumptions should ever be made regarding an accident without first consulting an experienced auto accident attorney. While reckless driving is a common cause of auto accidents, dangerous roadways and automotive defects are also responsible for numerous car accidents.
