Vehicle Collide with Gas Station During Accident

|

A car accident recently took place in Des Moines, Iowa. Shortly after 3:00 in the afternoon, a driver lost control of their car, causing the vehicle to head straight into the brick wall of a Casey’s General Store. Furthermore, the car continued to travel through the wall and into the building, where it skidded across the floor, traveling into a cooler. The driver of the vehicle and two customers were injured and taken to a hospital to receive medical attention for their injuries, which are not life-threatening. The accident is under investigation for further information.

Losing control of a vehicle can be caused by a number of factors; some common causes include excessive speed, instinctive reactions to unexpected events taking place while driving, or road surface condition. In the case of vehicle control loss, it is important to remember not to panic and to handle the situation calmly and carefully. Every scenario is different, but it has been recommended that drivers shift their vehicle into neutral, try to brake, and steer in the direction of the skid in order to not jerk the vehicle in another direction so that you can gain control of the vehicle again.
