Rural Illinois Car Crash Injured Three People

During the early hours on Wednesday, a car accident in rural Illinois sent three people to the hospital. According to the Illinois State Police, one young man and two male teenagers were injured in a single-vehicle auto accident at around 1:30 a.m. The driver, a 21-year-old man, and his two passengers were traveling along County Road 9 when the driver lost control and overturned the pickup truck. The driver and his 19-year-old passenger were transported to the hospital by medical helicopter and the 17-year-old passenger was taken by ambulance. DUI is suspected as the cause of the crash and the investigation is ongoing.

Rollover accidents often happen due to overcorrecting and erratic driving. However, design flaws of the vehicle can place the liability on the automotive manufacturer. In addition, dangerous roadways could also contribute to a rollover crash due to a lack of an adequate shoulder, or narrow curve. To accurately determine the cause and party responsible for your crash, a full investigation is necessary. Contacting a skilled auto accident lawyer will assist you in determining the appropriate course of action to hold the liable party responsible while obtaining compensation.
