The stars of the reality show, Real Housewives of Orange County, were sent to the hospital after being injured in an ATV accident over the weekend. As filming was underway for the show on Saturday morning, Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge were riding in a Polaris RZR four-wheeler when Tamra lost control and the ATV overturned several times. Both women were transported to the hospital and suffered minor injuries. They were released the next day and took to social media stating they were thankful for everyone’s thoughts and prayers. While it is rumored that alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, there is no evidence to prove it.
ATV accidents are responsible for injuries and deaths of victims of all ages. In Missouri, as spring and summer approaches, there will be an increase in ATV accidents due to the increase of ATV use. Many of these accidents involve drivers that are young and inexperienced, distracted, intoxicated, and speeding. Along with these common causes, mechanical defects and dangerous roadways can also be to blame. As with all accidents, a thorough investigation should always be conducted to properly determine the cause and liability of the crash.
