Car Crashes Into Elementary School, Five Injured

Just prior to school dismissing on Monday afternoon, a car crashed into a wall at an Albion, New York elementary school sending students to the hospital. At approximately 3:15 p.m., a vehicle struck another vehicle in the school’s parking lot and then crashed into a wall of the building and into a fourth-grade classroom. There were around 20 students in the classroom at the time of the accident and five students suffered injuries. Three of the injured students were treated at the scene of the accident for minor injuries and the other two were taken to the hospital but are believed to be ok. The driver was uninjured in the accident and police believe he suffered a medical condition causing the crash. Charges were not filed and it is unknown if the school district will pursue any action.
