Texas Man Dies in Car Crash

Sadly a 28-year-old man has died in acar crash following a high-speed pursuit Thursday night. Furthermore, the man who died was racing his vehicle with another on State Highway 183 near Regal Row. When a Dallas County deputy spotted the racing cars and attempted to stop them, both vehicles separated. The driver of a Camaro exited on Commonwealth Drive, ran a red light, and headed north on Interstate 35E. At one point the chase reached speeds of 120 mph.

The Camaro suddenly exited on Northwest Highway and then struck a steel pole, which caused the vehicle to split in two. The male driver died upon impact, and the 22-year-old female passenger was sent to a nearby hospital. The woman’s condition is unknown.
