Oregon Pedestrian Killed by Car

Sadly one pedestrian was killed Friday morning on Chemawa Road North when a car struck the individual. Furthermore, a 68-year-old man was hit by a pickup truck nearly Sept. 25 near Newberg Drive as he was crossing the road. According to police, the pedestrian walked directly in front of the vehicle, and there was no chance for the pickup to stop.

Likewise, there was nothing criminal about the pedestrian accident, and sadly the man was killed on the scene. The female driver of the pickup truck was cooperative with police, and she was very shaken up from the pedestrian accident. In addition, the driver of the pickup was traveling at the speed limit, and there were no indications she did anything wrong; the pedestrian walked directly in front of her.
