In Rock Island County, Illinois a serious car accident Wednesday morning caused the Centennial Expressway to be shut down. The accident occurred on the bridge of Illinois 92 when a vehicle rear-ended a tractor trailer.
The driver of the vehicle suffered serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. The Rock Island County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the accident, with the help of the Illinois State Police.
