A couple of the lanes on I-270 were closed for a few hours while crews reconstructed the accident and cleared debris. The accident remains under investigation.

Truck accidents involving commercial trucks can have serious and deadly results. Commercial trucks can weigh around 80,000 pounds making it difficult for a driver to operate and control. All truck drivers are required to obtain a commercial driver’s license, CDL, to ensure that the vehicle is properly operated. Trucking accidents can be caused by numerous factors and include unmaintained vehicles, mechanical defects, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, distracted driving, and driver fatigue. Those injured in a truck accident will likely incur medical expenses, lost wages if time off work is required, property damage, and mental anguish. To recover compensation for your damages, it is important to consult an experienced St. Louis truck accident lawyer.
