Nissan Vehicles Recalled

Nissan Vehicles Recalled
|

Nearly 60,000 Nissan vehicles are being recalled due to a defective fuel line. A couple months ago, Nissan issued a recall for the problem that included around 5,500 2016 models of Nissan Maxima. The recall is now being expanded to include all the 2016 models of Maxima and Altima models produced from 2013-2016. The sedans are being recalled to repair an O-ring that may not have been correctly installed during assembly. If a driver experiences an auto accident, the fuel line can loosen causing a fuel leak. Owners should take their vehicles to a dealer to receive a free repair.

Millions of motor vehicles have been recalled this year due to mechanical defects and design flaws. Unfortunately, recalls are often issued after an accident, injury, or death has occurred. Product liability laws require all manufacturers of consumer goods to produce items that are safe and will not cause harm to an individual. Dangerous products are responsible for thousands of injuries every year, and those injured should seek the assistance of an experienced St. Louis product liability attorney to hold the manufacturer of the product responsible.
