Serious Injures Due to KC Car Accident

|

A car accident resulted in serious injuries Friday evening in Kansas City, Kansas. The accident happened at approximately 7:30 p.m. in a construction zone along East 77th Street. Kansas City authorities believe that the driver of an SUV drove around a road closed sign and collided with some construction equipment in the area. The impact was severe and caused the two occupants to be ejected from the vehicle. Both individuals were transported by ambulance to the hospital for serious injuries. The police are investigating the accident to determine a cause.

There are numerous causes of auto accidents, but one of the most common causes is that of negligent driving. It is common knowledge that all drivers must take courses and tests prior to obtaining a driver’s license. During those courses, individuals are educated on how to properly operate a vehicle, traffic laws, and risks of reckless driving. However, thousands of auto accidents continue to occur each year and drivers are often to blame. Distracted driving, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, speeding and aggressive driving are all examples of negligent driving. If you have been involved in a car accident due to a reckless driver, you may have grounds to compensation.
