Car Accident in Missouri Results in Fatality

On Friday night, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to an auto accident in Perryville, Missouri. A tractor-trailer had parked near the off-ramp of Interstate 55 and a 2010 Dodge Town and Country minivan crashed into the truck. Emergency crews pronounced 39-year-old Alysha R. Pecaut dead at the scene of the accident. The occupants in the tractor-trailer did not sustain any injuries. The Perryville authorities, as well as the Patrol, are investigating the accident. They did not release any information as to a possible cause or if alcohol or drugs were involved.
