Likewise, Streisand was on Ron Perelman’s private jet en-route to lobby for the Woman’s Heart Alliance when the incident occurred.
The 12-year-old Coton de Tulear named; Samantha bit the female flight attendant after she tried to pet the dog without showing her hand first. As a result, the dog bit the attendant’s hand, which required stitches. A representative for Streisand stated that the bite was more of a “nip” and insinuated that the flight attendant should’ve put her hand out first since she was a stranger. In addition, Streisand felt terrible and stated that Samantha has never acted that way toward another stranger before this incident.
