One person dead in seven car pile up in Texas

Sadly, one person is dead following a seven-vehicle crash, which happened in Little Elm, Texas. Likewise, the crash occurred Wednesday night on Highway 380 in Denton County on the bridge between Providence Village and Paloma Creek. 41-year-old, Paul Dering died when he became trapped under a vehicle, and was pronounced dead on the scene.

There were no other reports of other injuries. Earlier in the day another crash happened after a semi truck jack-knifed, which blocked one lane. Wet and icy roads are to blame for the hazardous driving conditions that are causing the accidents. Thus far, there has been record-breaking snowfall in the area this winter.
