If you have some mac & cheese boxes in your cupboard, it's time to check the label. Furthermore, Kraft Foods is voluntarily recalling some of its boxes of cheesy goodness due to metal fragments finding their way into some of the product. In addition, 242,000 cases of certain doe dates have been recalled due to the metal. The following are the boxes to look for:
- Best When Used By: September 18, 2015-October 11, 2015 with "C2" directly below date
The C2 refers to the exact production line where the product was made. Some of the product may have also been packed as part of a multi-pack as well. The recall affects the U.S, and several other countries, but does not include Canada. The affected dates in the recall also impact these four configurations of the product:
7.25 oz. Original flavor
3-pack box, 7.25 oz. Original flavor
4-pack box, 7.25 oz. Original flavor
5-pack box, 7.25 oz. Original flavor
