Fatal semi crash kills one in Chicago

Sadly the start of the new week turned tragic for some following a deadly car crash involving a semi in Chicago. Furthermore, the fatal accident happened Sunday when a vehicle crashed into a semi in the McKinley Park subdivision on Chicago's South Side. In addition, the semi was exiting from northbound Interstate 55, and was heading left onto Damen prior to the accident.

A driver of the vehicle then hit the trailer of the semi. The brunt of the trauma happened on the passenger's side, and it killed a 23-year-old woman. The driver of the vehicle is currently in critical condition, and the driver of the semi was unharmed. Thus far no charges in connection with the accident have been filed, yet an investigation is ongoing. Click here to learn more.
