Fatal Rollover Crash Closes Lanes in Aurora, CO

|

A two-vehicle fatal car crash killed one and injured two more on Sunday in Aurora, Colorado. Furthermore, the car crash happened on E-470 when one vehicle was headed east when an unknown event caused the driver to lose control. As a result, the car spun around, rolled over, and came to a rest upside down in a ditch near 6th Parkway.

A second car was involved in the crash, although it was not reported how. Sadly one young child has died as a result of injuries sustained in the fatal crash. The victim did not have a seatbelt on at the time of the car crash and was thrown from the vehicle. Another child and adult male driver were also hurt in the vehicle crash as well. Luckily the child suffered non-threatening injuries. The male’s condition is unknown. It is not clear why the driver only put one child in a seatbelt, and the other was not.

The driver and passenger of the other vehicle involved in the car crash were not injured. It was not reported which driver caused the crash, or what events led up to the first vehicle losing control. An investigation is ongoing although police stated that drugs, alcohol, and weather were not contributions to the car crash.
