Kansas Man Dies in Semi Crash

Early Tuesday morning a man was killed in a horrific semi accident that happened at milepost 116 on the Kansas Turnpike. Furthermore, the semi truck crash happened when a northbound semi slowed down for a pedestrian crossing the road.

At that time, a second northbound semi truck then crashed into the back of the first. After the crash, the second semi that rear-ended the first caught fire which then killed the 39-year-old driver, Michael Lyden, who died at the scene. Both the pedestrian and the 58-year-old other semi driver, Michael Daniely, were unharmed in the accident.
