Car Crash Kills One in MO

Sadly, one person has been killed following a head-on car crash in Union, Missouri. Furthermore, the car crash happened Wednesday on Highway 47 between Washington and Union when a small car slammed into a concrete mixer truck.

The car was struck by the truck head-on which killing the driver of the car instantly. The driver of the car was 34-year-old, Jared Gandy. Witnesses at the scene were extremely shocked to witness the car crash. Likewise, the cars were almost unrecognizable following the horrific crash.

The road was shut down in both directions for many hours while the car crash scene was cleaned up. The accident appeared to have been caused by a 79-year-old woman driving an SUV that was not paying attention. She hit the back of the concrete truck and thus pushed it into oncoming traffic, which caused it to hit the small car. Although the concrete truck was not full, it was still heavy.
