Baby Strollers Recalled Due To Choking Hazard

|

UPPAbaby Company is recalling over 71,000 seats and strollers due to a potential choking hazard. Furthermore, the product recall is prompted after it was found that children in the stroller could bite off a piece of its foam crossbar, thus causing the choking hazard. The current recall involves 2015 Cruz and Vista brans, as well as the RumbleSeats. Thus far, UPPAbaby has receiver over 22 reports of children eating the part of the bumper car, yet luckily no injuries have been reported.

Consumers that currently have one of the two brands of strollers are urged to remove the bumper bar and contact the company to get a free cover and warning label. Both brands of the stroller were sold at BuyBuy Baby and various retailers on Amazon.com from December 2014-July 2105. Overall, 71,000 strollers were sold in the U.S., and 8,000 sold in Canada.
