|

The Illinois State Police responded to a car accident on Saturday morning. Tragically, a man was killed in the multi-vehicle accident in Kendall County. According to police, a 51-year-old William Clemens was operating a vehicle on Walker Road eastbound when he failed to stop at a stop sign causing a collision with a vehicle traveling southbound on Route 47. The impact pushed Clemens’ vehicle into the northbound lanes of Route 47, striking a semi-truck. Emergency crews pronounced Clemens dead at the scene of the accident and transported the driver of the southbound vehicle to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the semi-truck was not injured in the crash.
