Vehicle accidents are both tragic and widely common. They occur for a number of reasons and range in degree of severity. Some of the top reasons vehicle accidents occur are: speeding, driving while intoxicated, driving distractedly, and driver fatigue. Often times, there are several parties in the vehicle accident. These parties are known as the negligent party and the victims. A person is considered negligent when they have carried out an action that resulted in the injury of another person. If you are a victim in a vehicle accident, you can often press charges against the negligent party, with the help of an attorney, if there is evidence to support your case.
