STL Motorcyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash

Although helmets can save lives of motorcycle riders, sometimes it is not sufficient during crashes. Tragically in St. Louis County a motorcycle rider was killed after he crashed Friday on Interstate 55, and then was hit by another car. Sadly, 20-year-old, Christopher George died after he was thrown from his motorcycle near Reavis Barracks Road.

The vehicle that struck George drove off after the motorcycle crash. Police are now having a hard time piecing together a suspect because they do not have a description of the driver or the vehicle. Although George was wearing a helmet at the time of the motorcycle crash, it was not enough to safe him from his injures.
