Megabus crash in Indiana injures 10

|

A Megabus crashed in Johnson County Monday morning. It occurred on I-65 southbound at the 83-mile mark near Edinburgh. The bus accident occurred around 5:30 a.m. in the morning. State police said ten people were personally injured, although none of the personal injuries seemed to be life threatening in nature. The traffic backup on I-65 was backed for several miles.

The bus was going through Indianapolis and was coming from Chicago. The route would make stops in Atlanta, Nashville, and Louisville. IndyGo buses were called to pick up the remaining passengers. This is not the first Megabus crash for the company recently. One of the buses for the company tipped over near Seymour while on its way to Louisville. Additionally ten days later, a Megabus was involved in a crash near Hammond. The latest Megabus wreck is the fourth for the company in Indiana since October. To learn more, please click here.
