Drunk Driver Hit 38 Sheep

A drunk driver is facing charges after she hit and kill 38 sheep in an auto accident in Colorado. According to the Colorado State Police, 47-year-old Lynn Ann Michel was operating an SUV along a county road in Rio Grande County when she struck a large herd of sheep. She killed 38 of the sheep, and an additional 12 were injured. Michel fled the scene of the accident, but she was located at her residence after authorities discovered her license plates at the scene of the crash. She has been charged with driving under the influence and leaving the scene of the accident.
