Sierra Nevada Recalls Beer for Possible Glass Injuries

|

Sierra Nevada is recalling eight of their crafts beers due to a possible glass-related injury caused by a bottle flaw. The beer comes in 12-ounce bottles and is sold in 35 different states. The voluntary recall also affects some of their most popular beer which includes Hop Hunter IPA, Torpedo Extra IPA, and Nevada Pale Ale. These were packaged and bottled in the North Carolina brewery between December and early January. The company states that there is a limited amount of bottles that contain a flaw where a small piece of glass can break off and create an injury. The recall affects bottles with an “M” printed on the bottle shoulder. The company is offering a full refund for consumers who purchased the recalled bottles.

Thousands of recalls are issued each year for defective or dangerous products. Luckily for consumers, product liability laws were put in place to help protect them from these products and the injuries they can cause. Often companies will offer an exchange or a refund for the defective product, but sometimes these products cause injuries. Thousands of consumers are injured each year by-products that they’ve purchased. These injuries can be severe which means medical bills, stress, and possible lost time from work, lost wages and even home modifications if your injuries are life-altering. Whatever your injury is it’s always important to contact a product liability attorney. You may have received injuries from a defective product, and the company could be liable for your injuries and the expenses and bills that come with it. An experienced attorney will assess your injuries and decide if you have grounds to pursue legal action for your injuries.
