John Deere Recalls Utility Vehicles Due to Crash Hazards

|

John Deere is issuing a recall on their four passenger utility vehicle Gator due to crash hazards. The company reported that the steering shaft can separate from the steering rack assembly and may result in losing steering control. This recall affects around 68,300 utility vehicles. John Deere has received nine reports of steering loss however, no injuries were reported. Consumers are being urged to discontinue use of the recalled vehicle and contact a John Deere dealer. Authorized dealers will repair the defective products free of charge. The utility vehicles were sold nationwide at John Deere dealers from March 2012 through November 2017.
