Tennessee Teenager Killed In Auto Accident

A Tennessee teenager is dead after a fatal
auto accident in Mount Juliet over the weekend. The 19-year-old boy was tragically killed
in a single-vehicle crash on Beckwith Road on Sunday. According to the
Tennessee Highway Patrol, the teen lost control of his 2006 Subaru Baja
and slammed into a tree around 4 p.m. The fatal accident closed Beckwith
Road for several hours while crews cleared away the scene. According to
Investigators, the young man was wearing his safety belt and was only
traveling about 35 mph before he crashed into the tree. It is unknown
what caused the boy to lose control of his vehicle. The THP reports neither
speed, drugs, or alcohol have been found as a cause of the fatal crash.
The accident is still under police scrutiny.
